ASMA LABIDI
Asma Labidi is the Founder and CEO of NEXUMUS.
Asma is a pharmacist, a cosmetologist, a strategist and an international regulatory affairs specialist. She is a graduate from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, Harvard University, Boston, USA and holds two degrees in pharmacy and cosmetology.
As the Founder and CEO of NEXUMUS, she has been a healthcare lobbyist for several years within national and European institutions. Having represented more than 85% of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic sector in Belgium, Asma Labidi has the privilege to support SMEs, startups, big pharma companies with their strategies.
Asma Labidi was a regulatory affairs manager at BACHI, The Belgian Association of the Consumer Healthcare Industry. She has been awarded with several distinctions such as ‘Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2022’ by The HEALTH 2.0, Dubai. She has been involved in the adoption of several laws and regulations where she had a privileged access to the daily meetings that took place between the European Commission, European and local associations as well as national authorities.
As native of Tunisia, Asma Labidi has been nominated to serve on a national committee that is responsible for advising the Tunisian government on regulations, policies and compliance matters related to food supplements, herbs and dermocosmetics. As part of this committee, she worked with colleagues to develop and propose policies related to MEA business opportunities.
Member of the Dubai Business Women Council ‘DBWC’, Asma Labidi has decided to create NEXUMUS to allow entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs and Fortune 500 companies bring their ideas to life while ensuring the efficient management of the supply chain, their partners’ standards and a holistic approach to international markets.
